LOTUS Pond watercolor by Vermonter Cathy Stevens Pratt

No Mud. No Lotus. Ah, wise words from somebody! My buddy Marcy sent me a postcard with that saying on it and the postcard lives on my wall. I like to be reminded that if we can endure, something lovely will come from even what seems very dark or bleak. Enjoy.

Light of the Moon Watercolor by Vermont Painter Cathy Stevens Pratt

I love these colors. Just the thought of the warm moon at the time of the year when lovely birds are around makes me happy. This little piece is all about friends.

Leopard Mama painting by Vermonter Cathy Stevens Pratt

This little gem had a very specific purpose. A friend asked to trade art with me. She gave me details that she wanted me to do in her little painting and this is what she got. I am always happy to trade art. I love to make the art and I love to receive the art. May you find and have that thing that you DO every single day that you LOVE.

Peace Laundry watercolor by Vermont painter who doesn't mind laundry Cathy Stevens Pratt

More art about laundry? Yes! I do so much laundry, don't you? I figure, daily life inspires art right? So, why not glorify one of my most mundane tasks. Voila, here you go.
Peace all

KLIMT Master study Cat's Magic watercolor by Vermonter Cathy Stevens Pratt

And another Klimt study for you. Oh I do enjoy Klimt. His little circles, curly-q's and patterning help me to get lost in his art. I can go into my imagination thru those patterns. Look at the grace of this tree, who wouldn't get lost at least a bit? Enjoy.

TWO CATS watercolor painting by Vermonter Cathy Stevens Pratt

A few days ago I claimed to love mermaids the most. Well, really I love cats the most. I paint them less than I do mermaids, but they come in a close second. This painting was done for a buddy who I adore, but have never ever met. I'll know how long I've known her by how old her kitties are, she got them at the beginning of our friendship. We make art together late into the night, she in Texas, me in Vermont. This is for Jules and her two beauties.

"Retro Lava Lamps" by Melody Smith

18x24 - Watercolor
The hardest park about picking out a lava lamp is getting the right color
combination so I combined them all in this watercolor piece!
If only you could plug it in!
Love the retro stuff!
Thanks for looking.
